The social media star-turned-boxer was on account of tackle Davis in a super-fight next week but announced last night that the bout was cancelled. He’ll return later this 12 months on Netflix, but no opponent has been mentioned and evidently Diaz doesn’t quite fit the bill.

Jake Paul tears into Gervonta Davis in ripping first statement
Most Useful Promotions and Netflix last night confirmed in an announcement that Paul vs Davis had been cancelled, just 11 days from fight night. They were unspecific as to a reason, but days earlier MVP had posted an announcement indicating they were ‘investigating’ recent allegations against the boxer.
“Most Useful Promotions and Netflix have announced that Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis, originally scheduled for Friday, November 14 on the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, will now not be moving forward,” an announcement read.
“Our team has worked closely with all parties to navigate this case responsibly,” Nakisa Bidarian, CEO of Most Useful Promotions, was quoted as saying. “While we is not going to be moving forward with this event, our plan still stays for Jake Paul to headline an event on Netflix in 2025.
“Details regarding a brand new date, location, Jake’s opponent, and extra bouts will likely be shared as soon as they’re finalized. We thank Netflix, the Kaseya Center, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for his or her partnership.”
It didn’t take long for Paul to go to X, where he unleashed a scathing tirade against his rival. “Gervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage,” he wrote to his 32million+ followers on X and Instagram.
“Working with him is an absolute nightmare. The unprofessionalism, the bizarre requests, the showing up hours late to shoots. To the various arrests and related accusations and lawsuits. In the event you support this man you support essentially the most vile sin a person can commit.”
Paul also claimed that he “didn’t want to offer” his rival “a platform to grow his fans and to grow his checking account.”
“My company champions women,” he continued. “I’m so sorry to everyone involved. Mostly to the undercard fighters, to my team at MVP and to my team who worked so hard prepping for this fight. Sacrificing time with family members and children only for this idiot to lose his unintelligent mind again.
“It’s scary that devilish men like this will rise to the highest of culture and sports, including in positions of power. I hope you people moving forward look beyond his fake streetwear pieces ‘SWAG’ and seek for something deeper to be a fan of. As for me it’s on to the following one as at all times. Anyone. Anytime. Anyplace.”
