The brother of a British-based doctor who has been missing for 2 weeks on the Costa del Sol has said he may very well be living in his automobile.
Rufus Tanner, from Harrow, London, received information that his brother Ruaridh (Rory) was in Nerja, east of Malaga, on October 25, but said the trail had gone cold since then.
He has now began asking expats and holidaymakers within the region for information.
Rufus said: ‘My brother is missing. We received information that he was in Nerja on October twenty fifth.
‘He should still be there but it surely is probably going that he has moved on.
‘His name is Ruaridh (pronounced Rory) and he has an English accent.
‘He’s roughly 1.85m tall, has a caduceus tattoo on the inside his left arm and might be using and possibly living in his silver VW Polo.’

Rufus added: ‘As his family we would like to know that he’s protected, tell him that we love him, and ask him to contact us.’
On a Facebook page for Costa del Sol expats, Rufus described his brother as a UK resident and qualified doctor.
‘We usually are not sure why he disappeared but we just need to make contact,’ Rufus said.
Well-wishers responded by saying they’d share his appeal for help.
Although one added: ‘It is best to report it to the police.
‘He could also be willingly out of contact or he may very well be injured or in trouble. Best wishes to seek out him protected and sound.’
It just isn’t clear whether police have been contacted.
Nevertheless, Ruaridh’s brother thanked individuals who offered advice about talking to the police, along with a widely known Spanish missing individuals’ association.

Last month, a British man who went missing on the Costa Blanca was found dead nearly a month after he vanished.
Marc Tulloch Hewson, 63, originally from Wantage, Oxfordshire, was seen around September 20 in Torrevieja, south of Alicante.
His family and friends launched desperate pleas for assistance on social media and Spanish police also appealed for information on his whereabouts before his body was discovered on October 15.
On September 20, the body of 65-year-old British man Andrew Wade, who went missing from his Costa del Sol home in Marbella on August 15, was found near Estepona during a police search.
Three days later, British holidaymaker Josh Rogers, from Bloxwich near Walsall within the West Midlands, was found dead in woodland within the Costa Brava resort of Lloret de Mar after going missing from his hotel.
Nevertheless, there was a glad ending within the case of one other Brit, 76-year-old Clifford Wildgoose, who vanished within the early hours of September 20 from a bar in Puerto Banus near Marbella.
The retired property developer, who lives in Whitby, North Yorkshire, was recognised late the next day by an American tourist who had seen social media appeals by the missing man’s family.
Mr Wildgoose later flew back to the UK after being taken to the hospital in Spain.
