Former UFC star Darren Till may not get his want to share the ring with Carl Froch, albeit in his immediate return under the Misfits banner.
Making light work of fellow Octagon alum, former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, earlier this summer in a devastating knockout win, Darren Till immediately set fights on his return.
And staking his claim for a shot at former super middleweight world champion Carl Froch, Till vowed to fight the Nottingham native in his comeback.
Nonetheless, in a brand new update from Misfits leader Mams Taylor, Till’s return window likely spells danger for a pairing with Froch within the immediate future.

Bedding in well under the scrutiny of Misfits since his departure from the UFC, Till has gone 3-0 within the promotion, landing two knockout wins in the method.
Nonetheless, in line with the above-mentioned Taylor, Till, who retains a single fight on his current deal, is predicted to compete in the primary quarter of next 12 months, with a fight against Froch to be discussed afterwards.
“I like Darren (Till), [he’s a] pleasure to work with,” Taylor told IFL TV. “I’m excited — I feel he’s going to be fighting definitely in Q1 (quarter one).

Yet to book his return to motion since his knockout of Rockhold, Liverpool star Till claimed calling out Jake Paul could be a lost cause, maintaining the Ohio star has no real interest in facing him.
Nonetheless, with Paul now without an opponent for a planned return next weekend against Gervonta Davis, Till found the funny side of recent negotiations between Paul and UFC alum Nate Diaz for a rematch.
“Nate Diaz calling Jake Paul out to fight at 200 kilos while asking me to die to make 180 kilos,” Till posted on X this week. “Game is stuffed with absolute mongoloides…”
