Orlando Bloom is seeing double!
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 48, posed for a photograph with actress Rachel Lynn Matthews, who was dressed as his ex Katy Perry for Halloween.
In photos originally shared by Matthews, 32, on her Instagram Stories which have since gone viral on Reddit, the actress dressed up as Perry, 41, in a blue spacesuit in the course of the pop star’s 10-minute journey to space in April.
In a single snap, the Completely happy Death Day star will be seen in a shiny blue costume as she poses with Bloom, who wore a skeleton costume with makeup and had his arm round her.
One other photo shows Matthews recreating the now-infamous moment Perry kissed the bottom after returning to Earth. “Take up space!” she wrote over the image.
It’s not clear when the photos were taken, but Bloom wore his skeletal costume on October 31 at Vas J. Morgan and Michael Braun’s 2025 annual Halloween party in Los Angeles, per photos.
Matthews’ costume is a nod to Perry’s Blue Origin spaceflight with an all-women crew including Gayle King and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos’ wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
Perry and Bloom’s daughter, Daisy Dove, 5, watched her mom take off from the West Texas launch site with other onlookers, including Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
After touching down back in Texas, Perry revealed that she had serenaded her fellow passengers with a rendition of “What a Wonderful World” while aboard the flight.
“The perfect part was once we got back in our seats after zero-Gs, Katy sang ‘What a Wonderful World,’” King, 70, said in a Blue Origin X livestream on the time. “We’ve been asking her to sing on a regular basis, and he or she wouldn’t. Everybody said, ‘Sing “Roar,” sing “Firework.”’ And she or he said, ‘It’s not about me. I desired to talk in regards to the world.’”
“I feel that it’s not about me. It’s not about singing my songs,” Perry said. “It’s a couple of collective energy in there. It’s about us. It’s about making space for future women and taking over space and belonging. And it’s about this glorious world that we see right on the market and appreciating it. That is all for the good thing about Earth.”
Perry and Orlando called off their engagement earlier this 12 months after a nine-year romance.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June. “It’s not contentious for the time being. Katy is, in fact, upset but is relieved to not must undergo one other divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
“They’re still very much in contact and coparenting Daisy together,” one other insider told Us. “Orlando brought Daisy to satisfy Katy on tour before heading to the Bezos’ wedding. It’s not messy between them. They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake.”
