“I genuinely consider he’s going to be a force to be reckoned with. Before he even had that fight with Belal [Muhammad], I used to be like, ‘Watch, he’s going to smoke Belal.’ After I saw what he did with Gilbert Burns, I used to be like, ‘That child is definitely special.’
“So, yeah, I’ve been in there with [Della Maddalena]. I’ve been capable of hear him respiratory — he’s still near me, and I can feel his shots.
“I do know he’s an excellent kid, and I knew that he’s going to be a special guy and he’s going to have an awesome future within the UFC. And I consider that he’s going to present Makhachev problems.”

Jack Della Maddalena has already revealed his ‘dream’ is to complete Islam Makhachev at UFC 322.
“I see it going just like the Belal (Muhammad) fight,” he said during UFC 322: Countdown.
“Islam will try a number of more takedowns. But I consider I’ll have the option to get back to my feet every round and sting him on the feet, damage him, break him, after which finish him.
“That may be the dream to get a finish at MSG (Madison Square Garden) and blow the roof off the place.”
