Leon Edwards caught a stray after UFC 322.
The previous UFC Welterweight Champion had never lost three fights in a row until he was brutally knocked out by ‘Fighting Nerds’ star Carlos Prates on the UFC 322 important card on Saturday.
Since beating pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman twice, Leon Edwards has lost to former champ Belal Muhammad, Sean Brady, and Prates.
Post-fight, Edwards was told to retire by top contender Ian Machado Garry, who continued to poke fun at his welterweight rival following the primary KO lack of his profession.

Ian Machado Garry and son recreate Leon Edwards’ KO loss at UFC 322
The #6-ranked Machado Garry had his son, Leo, watching the fights with him on Saturday.
Oddly enough, Machado Garry’s son has said his favorite fighter to observe is former foe Carlos Prates.
After Prates knocked out Edwards at UFC 322, Machado Garry had his son pretend to be the unconscious ‘Rocky’.
“You be Leon Edwards, I’m gonna be Prates – ready?” Machado Garry told his son in a video posted to Instagram.
Machado Garry’s son dropped to the ground after Machado Garry pretended to make impact on a punch.
Leo laid flat on the ground as Machado Garry faked a follow-up shot similar to Prates did against Edwards.
“Prates is my son’s favourite fighter and after knocking out Leon, he’s now my favourite fighter too,” Machado Garry said of Prates, who he defeated across five rounds at UFC Kansas City earlier this 12 months.
Ian Machado Garry could steal next welterweight title shot
Machado Garry fights former champion Belal Muhammad within the co-main event of UFC Qatar this upcoming weekend.
With back-to-back wins over Prates and Muhammad, Machado Garry has the prospect to shake things up within the welterweight division.
Prates and Michael Morales are regarded as within the title picture after their performances at UFC 322, but Machado Garry could make an honest argument for a title fight against Makhachev himself.
Machado Garry is 9-1 within the UFC, along with his only loss coming to Shavkat Rakhmonov.
