Meanwhile, during an appearance on the “No Filter with Kate Langbroek” podcast, Jelly Roll opened up about how difficult his recent Australian tour was for him each mentally and physically.

The “I Am Not Okay” singer, 40, said the experience left him feeling unusually isolated and overwhelmed.

He performed six shows across Australia from October 25 to November 4, marking his first-ever concert events there. Nonetheless, Jelly Roll was forced to cancel his final show in Auckland on November 8 after coming down with a stomach illness that, he said, “f-cked my stomach up.”

The physical discomfort quickly affected his mental health. “When my stomach’s not right, nothing’s right. My mind’s not right. All the things feels off,” he said, per People Magazine.

When canceling the Auckland show, he told fans on Instagram that he had tried the whole lot to push through but “just couldn’t do it this time,” noting how rarely he cancels shows.

Adding to the strain, Jelly Roll said that the dearth of tour buses in Australia left him spending long stretches alone in hotel rooms.
