Lil Zay Osama Steps Up To Help Chicago Family After Teens Attack

Many persons are still shaken after a viral video showed a Chicago mother and her 9-year-old son being brutally attacked by a bunch of scholars recently. The disturbing footage sparked outrage across social media, prompting an outpouring of support. Amongst those moved by the situation is Chicago rapper Lil Zay Osama, who has improved and offered to assist the family.

Lil Zay Osama Opens Up About Wanting To Support Chicago Mother & Son Following Viral Attack

On Tuesday,Nov. 18, Lil Zay Osama took to his Instagram Story asking for help to locate the Chicago mother and son who were attacked by a bunch of youngsters. He said the video hit him hard as a father and emphasized, “That ain’t Chicago. I would like that young man within the video to know that what happened to him and his mom ain’t normal.”

Lil Zay Osama shared that he and his foundation need to support the family for Christmas. He offered to fly them to Los Angeles for a weekend, take them to dinner, and show them real support. He added that this moment needs to be a call to motion for your entire city and announced that he’s starting by donating so the young boy can shop for himself and his mom.

Lil Zay Osama also sat down for an interview with FOX32 Chicago, delivering a message on to other children who could also be watching. He emphasized that incidents like this shouldn’t be happening and urged the community to do higher for its youth.

He followed up with a caption expressing pride in stepping up for his city, writing, “Joyful to be of service to my city and community. I’m here for it 100. Shout out @kaseychronistv @fox32chicago.”

 Dreezy Calls Out Adults In Chicago Following Attack 

Rapper Dreezy took to her socials to react to the viral footage showing minors attacking a mother and her children.

In her post, she wrote, “I’m too mad about them lil kids in Chicago. Love my city down but grown adults have to step up and lift/correct the youngsters. And these schools need to begin having mandatory mental health programs. SMH it’s greater than simply kicking them out! Wtf,” Dreezy wrote.

After receiving criticism, she clarified her stance, saying, “I never said the college did anything fallacious. But I do imagine ALL schools should provide mental health education/support just as much as every other subject. Especially in Black communities. Don’t worry, challenge accepted.”
