The Best Weapons In Moonlighter 2

Axel has been writing about games and other types of media from Argentina since he was in High School. His first skilled opportunities appeared in 2018, and he hasn’t stopped working within the media industry since then.

You’ll unlock many weapons as you play Moonlighter 2: The Infinite Vault, so it is easy to wonder which one is the most effective. This is not only essential for the success of your runs, but additionally because some upgrades ask for helpful materials, and it will probably be painful to start out upgrading one that won’t really that strong to start with. Let’s save those materials for the most effective deal.

For this reason we have now listed all of the available weapons in the sport to determine which it’s best to deal with. This is generally subjective, using my playstyle and preferences, but there are objective considerations of what is good and useful. Let’s go over the most effective weapons in Moonlighter 2.

This game is on Early Access, so the viability of the weapons listed below can change over time.

How Do Tiers Work?

The full list of weapons from the Blacksmith in Moonlighter 2.

We will probably be using 4 tiers to categorize the 20 weapons you could find in Moonlighter 2. Below you could find a fast explanation for every of them.

  • Tier S:One of the best weapons Will can use, with little to no weaknesses.
  • Tier A:These are still strong, just not as overpowered because the Tier S ones.
  • Tier B:Weapons with poor passives that do not provide you with great benefits, but they will still get the job done.
  • Tier C: That is the Old Broom tier, and it.

Tier S

Weapon

Type

Reason

Blo-Beam

Gun

Simply the most effective gun. Great range, amazing damage, and you may increase its capability and make the reload faster. 10/10 no notes.

Aetherium Heart

Large Sword

It turns across the downside of the Large Swords, leading to something really powerful. My favorite Large Sword and the most effective melee weapon in the sport.

Ultimate Spear

Spear

Bored with needing the enemy to remain of their position or moving around, calculating the Spearheads’ tracking? This eliminates the difficulty, and if multiple enemies are close, the Spearheads bounce between them. Amazing weapon.

Ultimate Short Sword

Short Sword

Getting that last hit along with your Special Finisher can take some practice, but infinite ammo is an overpowered reward.

Tier A

Weapon

Type

Reason

Blo-Blaster

Gun

Great damage at short range, and you may make it even higher with upgrades. The one downside, which is a crucial one, is that you lose the flexibility to shoot enemies which are farther away.

The Rectifier

Spear

The Spear’s Special needed a twist, and if you’ve a more aggressive playstyle, this can fit like a glove.

Sun and Moon Ballad

Gauntlets

Probably the most effective Gauntlets in the sport. Mix their double attack effect with any elemental perk, and your damage will escalate dramatically.

Ultimate Large Sword

Large Sword

Its effect may not sound that great, but while you buff it with more Sharpness or element, it scales massively. Plus, your Special attacks multiple times.

Everlasting Fury

Short Sword

A straightforward yet really useful effect for a Short Sword. You will not be earning extra points against regular enemies, but a 50 percent buff against bosses is powerful.

Merchant’s Large Sword

Large Sword

It’s roughly easy to maintain your Sharpness level high, so getting a damage boost for that could be a strong perk.

Ray Axe

Short Sword

On the verge of falling to Tier B, its effect is helpful and good, but it takes a little bit of work, and I expected a bit more for the third Short Sword.

Tier B

Weapon

Type

Reason

Heartbeat Hunter

Gauntlets

If you’ve already finished every world and are good at the sport, you may move this to Tier A (and possibly S with the proper perks). But in case you’re still discovering enemies and executives, the double damage downside might be really detrimental.

Ultimate Gauntlets

Gauntlets

Disappointing for an Ultimate Weapon, it has the worst effect of the 4. Still functional and with all of the strengths of Gauntlets, but not great by any stretch.

Blob Gun

Gun

Your starting gun has nothing flawed with it: it’s weapon overall. It’s just less special than the opposite two.

The Vow

Large Sword

Not a fan of perks that drain your Sharpness over time, so I wasn’t going to love this sword that has this integrated from the get-go. Should you fight quickly, this would possibly not be much of a problem, but there are much better Large Swords.

Combat Rod

Spear

Barely higher than the worst Spear in the sport, but using this Special in fights against regular enemies that move around or can fly is sort of useless.

Merchant’s Short Sword

Short Sword

You may be performing Special Finishers with some frequency while using any Short Sword, so a damage buff is at all times welcome. It finally ends up being not-so great in comparison with other weapons because of the features of Short Swords basically.

Merchant’s Spear

Spear

It’s just nice. Like several spear, it has range and decent damage. The thing is, Spear’s Special, with none perks or special conditions, is the worst Special in the sport.

Merchant’s Gauntlets

Gauntlets

More Berserk time is addition, however it’s nothing special, and other Gauntlets have a lot better effects.

Tier C

Weapon

Type

Reason

Old Broom

Spear

It’s the primary weapon for a reason. It is the weakest, as you will probably be spending much time attempting to defeat any boss. It doesn’t also have a Special Attack!

You should have a side quest that asks you to defeat a boss with it. No less than it provides you with reward.
