Forsaken Lands Brings Co-op Deckbuilding in 2026

If there’s a genre that almost all of us at FullCleared love, it’s deckbuilding. If it’s not evident by the sum of money we recently spent on Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy cards, we’ve probably spent hundreds of combined hours in games like Slay the Spire, Monster Train, and Monster Train 2. We also love playing co-op games together, and while the deckbuilding genre doesn’t have many, we’ve spent dozens of hours in Across the Obelisk and Hellcard.

Every day, I receive dozens of press releases featuring latest game announcements. A lot of these get missed, but one which stopped me today was Forsaken Lands. The title of the e-mail was all I needed to open it: “A Latest Co-op Deckbuilding Game Announcement.” You’ve got our interest, developer Lunisky Studio and publisher Spaghetti Cat.

Forsaken Lands is an upcoming story-driven 2D dark-fantasy adventure featuring cooperative deckbuilding where players guide a celebration of heroes as they explore haunted forests, cursed villages, and forgotten ruins. It offers cooperative gameplay for up to 3 players, with each hero bringing their very own signature deck. Players can have to mix abilities, manage resources, and adapt strategies to tackle ambushes, bosses, and unpredictable events. Gameplay-wise, it looks very very similar to a multiplayer Slay the Spire, which is true up our alley.

While the sport can have a story mode, there’s also a Dreams Mode featuring procedurally generated adventures with combat modifiers and random events, delivering more of a roguelite experience. It’s currently scheduled to release within the second quarter of 2026 on PC via Steam, and you’ll be able to request access to a playtest. We’re keeping a detailed eye on this one and will certainly be jumping in as soon as we’re able.
