Jake Paul’s business partner Nakisa Bidarian says he had an outlandish plan to mess with Anthony Joshua that he thankfully avoided last week.
Paul and Joshua are going to fight on December 19 in what’s going to almost actually be the most important fight of the 12 months. All of it got here together remarkably quickly after the YouTuber’s exhibition bout with Gervonta Davis was cancelled earlier this month, and excitement is already constructing for the Netflix showdown.

When Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua met on Friday for his or her first stare down, the American appeared to face-to-chest more so than face-to-face along with his rival. And speaking on Ariel Helwani’s Uncrowned show tonight, Most Worthwhile Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian revealed he had a bizarre prank planned.
“If you happen to notice firstly of the face-off, Jake is looking down at his chest,” Bidarian recalled to Helwani after each men had stood on stage for the gargantuan moment. “Jake had said to me that he was going to ‘motorboat’ him.
“I said, ‘Jake, I’m unsure that makes lots of sense, man. It is a pretty intense situation, but as much as you, you obviously make your individual call.’ So I believe, in that moment, he was actually considering doing that. After which, upon reflection, he probably thought, ‘Let me just look up versus doing this.’”

No person was closer to the motion than Nakisa Bidarian at Friday’s press conference, and he noticed that neither man blinked throughout the intense face-off.
“From my perspective I used to be just taking a look at the dimensions difference,” Bidarian continued. “It was pretty dramatic, 6’6 vs 6-foot or 6’1. But I assumed they were each stoic, I used to be watching each of their eyes.

“Neither of them blinked once, which is pretty impressive to do for like a 20-second time period with that much concentration eye-to-eye, so it was pretty remarkable. Then after they faced forward, first Jake was taking a look at him and when Jake looked away Joshua glanced at him.
“So there was lots of amazing energy and I believe it’s going to be one other record-breaking night come December 19 by way of viewership.”
