Benny Blanco’s mother, Sandra Levin, was reportedly forced to cover from intruders during a recent break-in at her home.

The incident happened on Shadyglade Avenue within the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles around 9:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC 4.

The homeowner, whom law enforcement sources identified to the outlet as Blanco’s mom, was home when two men broke in through a sliding glass door. The boys were described as wearing dark coloured clothing and masks.

In line with the LAPD, the homeowner ran upstairs and locked herself in a toilet positioned inside a bedroom. She heard the intruders walk upstairs and open a bedroom door. When she peeked out of the lavatory door, the intruders saw her and ran away.

Us Weekly has reached out to the LAPD for comment.

The reported incident at Levin’s home comes just shy of two months after Blanco, 37, tied the knot with Selena Gomez in Santa Barbara, California. The September 27 nuptials were attended by roughly 170 guests, including the couple’s families and several other of their celebrity friends, corresponding to Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paris Hilton and more.

Gomez, 33, wore three custom Ralph Lauren gowns for the marriage, while Blanco wore a tuxedo from the designer.

Gomez’s grandfather, David Michael Cornett, walked her down the aisle.

A source exclusively told Us on the time that Gomez was “sobbing and crying so hard” during her vows, which made everyone else within the room start crying.

“Everyone there was sobbing, and it was extremely emotional,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, Blanco’s vows were “much shorter,” but “still very heartfelt and sweet, and Selena bawled her eyes out,” the source continued.

Gomez’s longtime friend Swift, 35, also gave a heartfelt speech on the reception about their friendship and Gomez’s relationship with Blanco.

“She went into depth and talked about how over time she saw Selena on the ground crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how comfortable she is that Selena has Benny now,” a separate insider exclusively told Us, adding that Swift “said it’s a best friend’s dream for her best friend to seek out someone like Benny and is so comfortable for her.”

The reception had “very eclectic” decor that was “very much” Blanco’s style, with carpets lining the ground since the music producer “doesn’t prefer to wear shoes,” the primary insider said.

The primary insider concluded, “The marriage was pretty easy and never your typical ‘celebrity’ lavish wedding. They each just wanted to bop and have a good time, and you would feel a lot love from them.”

Gomez took to Instagram after the marriage to share photos from the massive day. Blanco, who began dating the “Take a look at Me Now” singer in 2023, left a sweet comment on one among the posts, writing, “My wife in real life.”
