Harry Kane says Bayern Munich’s 17-year-old sensation Lennart Karl is able to face Arsenal within the Champions League on Wednesday, talking up the teenager’s talent.

The teen has been making a huge impact for Bayern this season, despite not turning 18 until February.

The attacking midfielder has scored twice in nine Bundesliga outings and once in two Champions League appearances.

Karl has already been handed a spot in Vincent Kompany’s starting XI 4 times and has earned plenty of praise for his early performances for the German giants.

The teenager looks set to be involved in the massive game on the Emirates and Kane has told the Gunners what to anticipate from the exciting young prospect.

‘I believe he’s ready for a game like this, he’s proven that point and time again,’ said the England captain of the German prodigy.

‘You may see his confidence, how well he performs under pressure – he’s fast, agile, and difficult to mark. He’s a very good player and we’re very blissful to see what he can do.

‘He needs to maintain working hard with an amazing coach we’ve who gives him freedom but in addition makes sure he doesn’t take too many risks – I hope he can proceed to make the difference.’

Kompany also hinted that Karl will probably be thrown in against the Premier League leaders on Wednesday, although he did warn the wonderkid that the red hot form he has shown is certain to decelerate at some stage.

‘He’s still young and can still be young for just a few more years,’ said the Belgian. ‘That’s good and he should enjoy it.

‘You may see his development; he’s now in a team with higher teammates – he’s really flourishing on this recent environment. Within the 18 months we’ve been together, I’ve seen him continually improve.
