‘You absolute liar’… Khabib Nurmagomedov reacts to Conor McGregor attempting to ‘darken’ his name

The feud between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to spark, and the 2 recently had one other spat online.

Just a few months ago, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor announced he was taking a protracted break from social media ahead of a possible return to the game.

That got here to an end earlier this week, though, because the Irishman announced his return online after partaking in trauma treatment, claiming that he went on a spiritual journey where he saw Jesus.

And just days after his return to social media, ‘The Notorious’ re-sparked his long feud with Khabib Nurmagomedov, accusing him of scamming his fans with a recent scheme.

Nurmagomedov calls McGregor a ‘liar’ for attempting to ‘darken’ his name

In addition to accusing ‘The Eagle’ of scamming his fans for selling digital Papakhas, McGregor also went deeper by claiming that the Russian is a ‘stain on his father’s name’.

The Irishman’s comments in fact didn’t sit well with Khabib, who often could have ignored McGregor’s words, but this time, he issued a response, calling McGregor a ‘liar’.

“You absolute liar. You’ll at all times attempt to darken my name, after you bought destroyed that night, but you won’t ever achieve that,” Khabib said in a post on X.

“Yes, good guys don’t do this. They don’t create exclusive digital gifts with real time value, which you could share with your pals and family.

“Gifts in the form of Papakha – hat that symbolizes traditions and culture of Dagestan people. Traditions and culture that slowly walking over this world, whether you prefer it or not!” he continued.

McGregor and Khabib’s feud continued at UFC 322

Although McGregor wasn’t in attendance at UFC 322 earlier this month, a melee was sparked by his teammate Dillon Danis, who was also by his side when an enormous melee broke out between the 2 teams when McGregor and Khabib fought at UFC 229.

Danis ended up trading punches with several members of the Nurmagomedov team, and was subsequently banned from all future UFC events by UFC boss, Dana White.
