Ben Askren criticizes ‘whiny’ Tom Aspinall

Several hours later, Tom Aspinall spoke about his eye injury and the aftermath of UFC 321 in a 12-minute YouTube video.

A clip of him branding Ciryl Gane a ‘big cheater’ has since gone viral on social media.

The guy was attempting to f—ing poke my eyes out,” Aspinall said.

“The guy was cheating from the primary second… I feel he’s an enormous cheater. Have a look at all his fights.”

Former UFC star Ben Askren wasn’t impressed after stumbling across the video on X.

“That is so whiny. Bad look,” he wrote after reposting the viral clip together with his followers.

Tom Aspinall’s next fight

Fans thought Dana White took a ‘subtle dig’ at Tom Aspinall during his UFC 321 post-fight press conference

“Tom didn’t need to proceed within the fight,” the UFC boss told assembled media members.

It’s protected to say that comment didn’t go down well with Aspinall, who just isn’t completely satisfied with Dana White at once.

“I’ll let you know why I didn’t proceed, because I’m not a f—— dummy,” Aspinall said.

“I’m not gonna go on the market and fight among the best strikers on this planet if I can’t see with any eye…

“When it’s a foul, why am I going to place my health in danger once I can’t see in any respect.”

Aspinall then laughed when he was asked, “So that you’re not too completely satisfied then on what the president of the organization is saying towards it?”

“Well, what do you’re thinking that?” he replied
