One other clip of Rohit Sharma having an intense discussion with India head coach Gautam Gambhir goes viral on social media.

The primary ODI between India and South Africa produced a series of viral moments starting from Virat Kohli’s animated celebration after reaching his century to Dewald Brevis’ gravity-defying catch to dismiss Ruturaj Gaikwad. There have been a number of off-field moments too that grabbed the eyeballs, including India head coach’s interaction with Kohli and Rohit.
Amid reports of a tense dressing room that has irked BCCI, the highlight was squarely on the trio because it’s been widely claimed that each one’s not well between the Indian team management and a number of senior cricketers.
A video of Rohit having an animated chat with Gambhir contained in the dressing room is doing the rounds on social media where the previous India captain may be seen shaking his head while seemingly discussing the sport.
The discussion wasn’t limited to the JSCA International Stadium, the venue of India’s 17-run win. One other video shows Gambhir and Rohit having a chat while the remaining of the India players including stand-in captain KL Rahul celebrating the victory on the team hotel by cutting a cake.

While it could’ve been a routine discussion between the 2 former India teammates, the interaction is been closely scrutinised given the reports that BCCI has called for an urgent meeting to sort out the differences between the senior players and the team management.
“India will probably be favourites to defend the T20 World Cup next 12 months and robust contenders for the ODI World Cup after that, so we would like these issues resolved quickly,” A BCCI official was quoted as saying by Sportstar.
The meeting might be attended by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, joint secretary Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, Gambhir and chairman of Indian men’s team selection committee Ajit Agarkar.
There have also been speculations over the ODI futures of each Rohit and Kohli given each are of their late thirties.
