Cyrus, 33, showed off her sparkler from latest fiancé Maxx Morando on the Avatar: Fire And Ash premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, December 1. Following her subtle announcement, which Page Six was first to substantiate, Blue Nile’s VP of Merchandising Daniela Tarantino told Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 2, “This engagement ring is a chunky gold east-west bezel set ring,” which is “a contemporary and chic trend we’re seeing within the bridal industry.”
Tarantino added, “We imagine the ring is roughly a 4 [to] 5 carat modified cushion that costs around $300,000 to $450,000.”
Kristy Cullinane, the diamond jewelry expert and Co-Founding father of Plum Diamonds, agreed that the diamond is “roughly 4 to five carats.”
“The estimated value of the ring can be $200,000+ for a mined diamond or $15,000 for a lab-grown diamond,” Cullinane added.
While showing off her rock of a hoop, Cyrus also wore one other diamond by Messika on her pointer finger, featuring a pear-shaped stone and an oblong diamond connected on an embellished band. She further accessorized with a Messika diamond necklace and a double ring on her right hand.
She placed her left hand on Morando’s chest, sure to indicate off her engagement ring to her fans. Cyrus — who has been dating Morando since December 2021 — stunned in a black sequin gown by Gucci featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline, a fitted bodice that cascaded right into a pleated mermaid skirt with a dramatic train.
