The 32-year-old was deep into an acoustic performance of “Penthouse” when a person within the audience seemingly yelled “Team Morgan” at the precise moment she sang that “it stings rolling up the welcome mat, knowing you bought half.”
Without hesitation, Ballerini shot back, saying “F-ck off,” because the audience erupted with laughter and cheers.
She then walked forward, removed her mic from the stand, and declared, “Team Everyone’s Comfortable,” prompting even louder applause.

After the show, the “Miss Me More” singer re-shared the viral TikTok clip to her Instagram Stories and delivered a direct message about future fan behavior.
“Respectfully, if anyone yells anything disrespectful to anyone during this song again, it’ll now not be on the setlist,” she wrote per E! News.
Ballerini urged fans to guard the meaning of the track, adding, “Please let this be a song that matters to people and never a spot to insert yourself right into a world that doesn’t exist and was never yours to start with.” She ended with, “Team everyone’s blissful or bust. Please.”

Her response echoed similar boundaries she set in November when fans speculated that her song “Emerald City” was geared toward comparing herself to Madelyn Cline.
On the time, she reminded listeners, “I write songs to relate to, to not make a degree on the web.”
