Lyrica Anderson & Natalie Nunn’s Collab Went Left Real Quick
In keeping with Lyrica Anderson, the track originally began as a duet between her and Natalie after Natalie allegedly flew into Atlanta asking Lyrica to hop on the song. As a respected songwriter who’s penned hits for the likes of Beyoncé and Chris Brown, Lyrica told us she fronted many of the studio costs. From recording sessions to engineering—she allegedly covered every thing so the vibes could keep flowing. But, she claimed things shifted the moment Lemuel showed interest in hopping on the record. Allegedly, Natalie even told Lyrica she didn’t want him involved because he was annoying her. Yet, one way or the other the 2 still ended up working on the track together anyway.
Things Escalated When Lyrica Confronted Natalie
Lyrica says that despite the switch-up, she continued investing within the record—even paying a author to craft Lemuel’s verse. But over time, she says it began feeling just like the duo was attempting to edge her out of the project altogether, despite her carrying many of the financial weight. In keeping with her, the stress hit a brand new level once she addressed the situation on a podcast and publicly confronted Natalie about how the business side of things had been handled.
And baby, that clip Natalie posted? The one where she appears to press Lyrica in front of her mother, Lyrica Garrett? Lyrica wants y’all to know the video didn’t show every thing. She told TSR that after the cameras stopped rolling, she walked outside to confront Natalie about what was said within the moment—something the general public never got to see.
