That is the moment rescuers uncover a missing ten-year-old boy after they heard his cries buried beneath rubble.

The kid, Syrian national Amir Alcedduh was abducted, beaten and buried alive under heavy rocks.

He had been reported missing for 2 days before he was discovered near a dam in Reyhanli, within the Turkish province of Hatay on December 7.

On December 5, Amir had disappeared after leaving his primary school and his family filed a missing person report after they couldn’t find him.

A big-scale search was launched by police in Reyhanli, where security camera footage from across the district was trawled through to attempt to trace his movements.

Officers reportedly examined recordings from greater than 200 cameras before Amir was identified in a automotive heading towards the Reyhanli Dam.

Police and rescuers continued to go looking across the dam and its surroundings, which is when a volunteer searcher, Ramazan Albayrak, said he heard an odd sound.

While sweeping in a rubbish-strewn patch of ground near the water’s edge, Ramazan heard the noise and, at first, thought it was a crow.

He then realised it was a baby’s voice coming from under a heap of stones.

Ramazan said he then saw what looked like a small body under the rocks, which prompted him to frantically draw back the stones.

The video footage from the invention shows the rescuers shouting for somebody to call an ambulance as young Amir lies under the rocks.

After he was free of the rubble, he was taken to hospital with what emergency services described as a head wound.

Medics said he had undergone surgery and that he’s in good condition, with no immediate risk to his life.

Amir’s father, Muhammed El Cedduh, told local media: ‘My son suffered under those stones for days.

‘I would like the cruel one who did this to my son to receive the harshest punishment possible. May God protect us all.’

A person has been reportedly arrested in reference to what happened to Amir, but he denied any involvement and rejects the accusations made against him.
