In line with WSB-TV, Erica Banks was arrested by Brookhaven police on Monday, December 8, around 2:59 p.m. Per the outlet, the rapper was taken into custody after being pulled over during a traffic stop on Buford Highway. Per CBS News, details remain unclear about “what led to the traffic stop and circumstances of the arrest.” Nevertheless, TMZ reports that the automotive she was found riding passenger seat in was reportedly stolen, and it caught the police’s attention attributable to its tinted tag covering dealer plates. The motive force, reportedly identified as Amani Dirton, was also faraway from the vehicle.

Per the outlets, Banks was taken into custody and charged with “possession of a Schedule or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.” Presently, Banks’ booking record indicates that she was reportedly present in possession of ecstasy.
