Kylie Jenner shared why she’s so protective of her personal life amid her romance with Timothée Chalamet.
“I even have to live my life,” Kylie said throughout the Thursday, December 11, episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians while reflecting on growing up in the general public eye. The fact star was asked in regards to the fallacious rumor that she was pregnant at 16, before a producer asked Kylie if she felt more “protective” of her personal life now.
“I can’t live for whatever everyone else wants me to do,” she added. “I just must attempt to do what’s best for me daily.”
She continued: “I do know that fame has absolutely shaped me from experiencing these items since I used to be nine. But I assume I also wouldn’t know who I can be today without growing up like this. I’m just navigating through life.”
Kylie became a household name after starring in E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians from 2007 to 2021. After becoming a mom when she welcomed daughter Stormi with on-again, off-again boyfriend Travis Scott in February 2018, Kylie stepped away from the highlight. The then-couple, who began dating in 2017, welcomed their second child, son Aire, in February 2022 before parting ways for good nearly a 12 months later.
Three months after her split from the rapper, Kylie sparked romance rumors with Timothée, 29. A source previously told Us Weekly that Kylie’s family members have seen “an entire other side of her” since she began dating the actor.
“They’ve never seen her so completely happy they usually love the qualities Timothée brings out in her,” the insider shared in September 2023. “She will be able to totally be herself, and she or he’s far more laid back with him than she’s been in past relationships.”
Despite selecting not to talk out about her romance with Timothée, Kylie has discussed how her children remain her biggest priority.

“Finding myself within the hospital alone with a brand new and unknown creature in my arms [has been my favorite part],” she told Vanity Fair Italy in February 2023. “It’s such a novel and special situation and it’s all about constructing with these little beings that you simply’re learning about. There’s one other magical moment, though: while you bring your kids home. It is probably essentially the most beautiful moment.”
Kylie later detailed her positive outlook on life, telling HommeGirls in April 2023, “It’s really such a blessing that I’ve been in a position to live and experience a lot life at such a young age. I even have two kids, I’m 25. Truthfully, I’ve never been happier. As I grow old, I get more appreciative of my life, my family, my friends and having all these opportunities.”
More recently, Timothée hinted that he was eager about settling down and starting a family of his own.
“That might be on the radar,” he told Vogue last month. Timothée recalled how he once saw an interview where an individual was “bragging about not having kids and the way much time it afforded them to do other stuff,” which he found to be “bleak.”
