Randy Orton has been off WWE television because the October third episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he was written off following an attack by The Vision.
Despite his ongoing absence, WWE is now promoting Orton for the 2026 Royal Rumble go-home episode of SmackDown. The show is scheduled for January 30, 2026, and can air from KAFD in Riyadh, the identical venue that can host the premium live event.
This just isn’t the primary time WWE has promoted Orton’s return. The corporate had advertised him for last week’s episode of SmackDown, however the 14-time world champion didn’t appear on the show.
