Former Chelsea star Oscar has decided to retire on the age of 34 over heart abnormalities, in keeping with reports.
Oscar played for Chelsea from 2012 to 2017 and was a fan-favourite before he was sold to Chinese club Shanghai Port for around £60m.
The attacking midfielder played his final game for Shanghai Port in December 2024 as he moved back to his boyhood club Sao Paulo.
Oscar signed a three-year take care of Sao Paulo but in keeping with ESPN in Brazil, the Brazilian is now expected to finish his profession in 2025.
The player suddenly collapsed during a Sao Paulo training session in November and spent five days in hospital after the incident.

Oscar was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope, a transient lack of consciousness attributable to a decrease in blood pressure and heart rate.
He’s now set to hold up his boots and it’s believed that Sao Paulo are considering offering him a brand new non-playing role to remain on the club.

Oscar won two Premier League titles during his time at Chelsea, in addition to the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
He played a complete of 203 games for the Blues, conjuring up 38 goals and 31 assists.
Oscar twice won Chelsea’s Goal of the 12 months award, against Juventus and Queens Park Rangers within the 2012-13 and 2014-15 seasons respectively.
The player has been capped 48 times by Brazil and was named within the FIFA World Cup All-Star Team in 2014.
At Shanghai Port, Oscar scored 77 goals and provided 142 assists in 248 games.
He helped the club win three Chinese Super League titles, the Chinese FA Cup and the Chinese FA Super Cup.
Oscar was named within the Chinese Super League Team of the 12 months in 2018 and the AFC Champions League OPTA Best XI in 2019.
