PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi prolonged the PSL latest teams bid deadline to December 22, citing strong investor interest from the US, UK, and Gulf.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has prolonged the deadline for investors to buy the 2 latest teams within the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by one week.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced that bids can now be submitted until December 22 as an alternative of December 15.
He stated that the interest shown by prospective investors from america, UK, and Gulf countries within the two latest PSL teams was encouraging for the board.
“The growing interest of foreign investors within the PSL is encouraging and we’re waiting to welcome the owners of the 2 latest franchises soon,” Naqvi said.
The PCB can be holding a roadshow for the PSL today in Recent York, with several Pakistan team members, including Test captain Shan Masood, in attendance.
Last Sunday, the PCB held a PSL roadshow at Lord’s cricket ground in London, describing it as a significant success.
Nonetheless, questions are being raised in cricket circles in regards to the expenditure on these roadshows abroad and the explanation for extending the deadlines for the bidders of the 2 latest teams.

The PCB also had former captains Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram on the London roadshow, they usually are expected to be present today in Recent York. There are questions throughout the cricket community about whether these two former players have made themselves available without cost.
Though the PCB has made no official announcements, it has apparently set a reserve price of 130 crores PKR for every latest team, which is roughly 470,000 USD.
