Former Tottenham chairman Alan Sugar has told the club to axe manager Thomas Frank and make an incredibly ambitious appointment to exchange him.

He reckons the vast wealth of homeowners, the Lewis family, could tempt former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp back to the Premier League and that’s the appointment he would like to see.
‘With the huge fortune of the Lewis family it could be a win-win situation in the event that they hired Jurgen Klopp in January,’ Sugar posted on X.

‘A great deal of money for players and an important manger. Who agrees #coys @SpursOfficial.’
It was identified to Lord Sugar that Klopp stated he would never manage one other English team after he left Liverpool last 12 months.
The 78-year-old replied: ‘People change their mind MONEY TALKS he’s doing adverts for Travel Hotels.’

Klopp is indeed promoting Trivago, while he can also be in his position of Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull.
The German has suggested he’s unlikely to take one other job as a manager, although has not ruled out a return to the dugout.
He even said he could have a second stint as Liverpool boss, telling the Diary of a CEO podcast in October: ‘I said I won’t ever coach one other team, a distinct team, in England. So meaning if then it’s Liverpool … yeah. Theoretically it’s possible.
‘I’m 58, meaning I could make the choice in a couple of years, I don’t know. Do I actually have to make the choice today? Then I is not going to coach again. But thank God, I don’t have to do this. I can just see what the long run brings.’

More recently Klopp has been linked with the Real Madrid job as pressure grows on Xabi Alonso on the Santiago Bernabeu.
As for Frank at Tottenham, he expects to be given time to enhance things after a disappointing begin to life in north London.
‘I can’t see why not. I feel it’s pretty evident that if nobody gets the time, nobody can turn this around,’ he said. ‘This isn’t a fast fix.’
He added: ‘I feel it is amazingly vital to be calm and measured and naturally, have very, very direct and clear messages at the proper time, so that they’re not unsure of what I feel.
‘I’m very honest about where we’re as well. I used to be also very honest, today was a really bad performance, no two ways about that.
‘But I also know that to alter this can take a while. Nobody will wish to hear about that. It’s just reality.’
