Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ben Sears, and Ethan Bosch join the IPL 2026 auction list, now 369 strong, with the event set for Abu Dhabi.

Bengal opener Abhimanyu Easwaran, who has been close to creating his international debut on multiple occasions, together with Recent Zealand pacer Ben Sears and South Africa’s Ethan Bosch, have been added to the auction list for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

Easwaran, who was a part of the Indian squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy within the 2024-25 season, is among the many 19 latest players included. Ethan, brother of South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch, has played one ODI for South Africa, while Ben Sears has featured in a single Test and 4 ODIs for the Black Caps.

The list also includes Virandeep Singh from Malaysia, Chris Green from Australia, Kyle Verreyanne from South Africa, and Blessing Muzarabani from Zimbabwe. The auction will happen in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The brand new additions also include several uncapped players, mostly from India, including Kerala wicketkeeper-batter K.L. Shrijith. With these 19 players, the full number within the auction pool is now 369.

Attention shall be on players like Cameron Green, Liam Livingstone, and Ravi Bishnoi as ten franchises prepare for the IPL 2026 auction on the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. This shall be the third consecutive IPL auction held outside India, following Dubai (2024) and Jeddah (2025).

All ten teams are expected to spend significantly to secure top talent and construct a squad able to winning the IPL 2026 trophy. There are 77 slots available, including 31 for overseas players. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have probably the most vacancies with 13, followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with ten.

From an initial longlist of 1,355 players, 359 have been shortlisted, comprising 244 Indian and 115 overseas players. Forty players are listed at the utmost base price of Rs 2 crore, with Bishnoi and Venkatesh Iyer being the one Indians on this category.

Australia’s all-rounder Cameron Green is predicted to be highly wanted, with bids for him more likely to exceed Rs 25 crore resulting from the limited supply of such players in a mini IPL auction.

Along with Bishnoi and Green, notable players expected to attract significant interest include England’s Liam Livingstone and Jamie Smith, Recent Zealand pacer Matt Henry, keeper-batter Tim Seifert, South African batter David Miller, and Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana, who was released by Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
