It’s been feeling like a celebration ever since Disney star Debby Ryan and Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun announced they were expecting their first child together back in September. Now, the celebration continues because the couple officially step into their newest role yet, parenthood!

Dun & Dun Plus One Family Celebration
While Debby kept much of her pregnancy private, she still honored family during this deeply special season. In early November, the actress shared maternity photos captured by her big brother, with film images taken by his wife.
Debby said her brother “gave me a sister and certainly one of my highest friends,” each gifted at capturing meaningful moments. She shared that watching them turn into parents “modified” her, adding their children will share the identical age difference. Debby also wrote about certainly one of the best honors of her journey:
“…making joshua’s parents grandparents, making his sisters aunts & his brother an uncle, giving my parents a grandkid & my niece a cousin & returning the favor for Chase & Sarah, these are among the many best honors I’ve been feeling along this journey. don’t get me began on Josh.”
Moreover, the previous Disney star said it’s been an extended road to achieve this moment, with many miles still ahead. Debby expressed gratitude for sharing the journey in each big and small ways. She closed by thanking her family for the heat, love, and support surrounding her during this chapter.
The celebration didn’t stop there. Later that month, family and friends flew to California for the Baby Dun baby shower. Photos from the event showed Josh kissing Debby’s baby bump, family members sharing hugs and kisses, and décor throughout the space reading, “Baby Jebby.” Supporters were also surprised to see Debby posing along with her Jessie costar Karan Brar. The next week, the celebrations continued around Thanksgiving, as family members gathered again for one other Baby Dun moment, creating lovely onesies, a custom Dun jean jacket, and a quilt stuffed with heartfelt messages and love.
Debby Ryan & Josh Dun Officially Welcome Baby Girl Felix
On Saturday, Debby Ryan and Josh Dun shocked their fans after officially revealing they welcomed their baby girl, Felix Winter Dun. The couple shared intimate photos from Debby’s water birth, together with glimpses into life with their newborn, including close-up moments holding baby Felix and sweet shots of their dog gently licking her tiny feet.
Debby took to Instagram as she reflected on the emotional moments leading as much as Felix’s birth and her transition into motherhood. She began her caption by recalling a quiet moment with Josh under a full moon as they said goodbye to life as a family of two. Debby revealed that Felix was born “under Christmas lights with snow outside our bedroom window,” arriving right into her father’s hands, while calling Josh “an incredible teammate.”
She continued to put in writing, “fortified by an incredible birth team, and the strength and wisdom of some women who’ve supported me on this journey near and much. Her hair is manufactured from silk and her breath smells like vanilla ice cream and each chirp, squeak and whimper is music and each time I look away and look back, she’s shrunk one way or the other. I do know too soon, I’ll look away and look back and she or he’ll be larger and greater still so for now I’d prefer to spend my days trapped under the immovable 8 kilos of Felix Winter Dun. I’ve been a whole lot of things but her home, a grow light, a portal to bring a brand new soul into the world—these are my best honors. Welcome to earth lil moonbeam. Love you ceaselessly.”
Josh also shared his own message, reflecting on witnessing Felix’s birth firsthand and praising Debby’s strength throughout the experience, calling it “the best thing I’ve ever witnessed.”
He wrote, “A moonbeam baby has arrived. She is a sweet baby girl and I really like her. Debby labored and gave birth in our bedroom under a vivid full moon and snow outside; Felix arrived right into my hands. The best thing I’ve ever witnessed. Debby is unbelievable. I examined and announced to the room that Felix Winter Dun is a woman. I kinda thought she was a boy the entire time, but what a method to start off life already surprising me. There just isn’t a single thing I’d ever change about her, except her diaper. She will do truly whatever she wants in life, but I’ve got some extra drumsticks and practice pads ready just in case. I really like you Felix.”

While the couple continued to have a good time their baby girl, supporters across social media gathered to congratulate Debby Ryan and Josh Dun as they start life as a brand new family of three.
