NHL Rumors: What Are the Calgary Flames Trying to get for Blake Coleman and Rasmus Andersson

Elliotte Friedman: “There’s been some reporting about Nazem Kadri. I’ve got nothing so as to add there. The one thing I’ve heard about (Blake) Coleman, and it’s been reported, there’s quite a lot of interest in Coleman, and I feel that’s true.

Kyle Bukauskas: “It makes quite a lot of sense.”

Friedman: “Well, I feel he’s pretty glad to remain, to be honest. I don’t think he could be upset in any respect if he stayed in Calgary. However the one thing is, there’s been quite a lot of speak about Montreal. What I understand with Coleman is that and had another teams that were telling me not to purchase into the Montreal.

Possibility that there’s other teams that will have a bonus here. In order that’s what they were hinting in my direction, and possibly it may not be one among the teams that they will get him to. So we’ll see. We’ll see what happens there, Kyle.”

Bukauskas: “Okay, and once I said it makes quite a lot of sense that, identical to, what number of teams on the market be going, ‘Yeah, that guy may help us.’ Like at all times, one other guy who’s been putting together a fairly good season, and I’ll at all times imagine that somewhere out there may be Julien BriseBois. He’s already broken the mould of starting the reunion tour. Ryan McDonagh is back. Yanni Gourde is back.

NHL Rumors: 20 teams have inquired about Blake Coleman

Friedman: “Yep.”

Bukauskas: “Just at all times going to maintain that in mind here as we go forward.”

NHLRumors.com Note: There was quite a lot of interest in Blake Coleman dating back to his time in Latest Jersey. Remember, the Devils sent him to the Tampa Bay Lightning right before COVID hit the league. Coleman was a component of the back-to-back Championships with the Lightning. The flat cap forced him out. He signed with the Flames and has some say in where he goes. The Lightning won’t be the one team going after his services, given how he may help a team within the playoffs.
