From winning hearts in popular television shows like Uttaran, Dil Se Dil Tak, and Naagin 4 to becoming one of the crucial talked-about contestants on Bigg Boss, Rashami Desai has built a profession rooted in consistency, resilience, and emotional strength. Having spent years within the highlight, the actress understands the unseen pressures that include fame and constant visibility. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rashami opened up about mental health, stress, and the emotional demands of an actor’s life. Read on to know what she shared.
Rashami Desai On Difficult Moments In The Industry
Talking about how outsiders often perceive an actor’s life as glamorous and simple, Rashami shared how reality paints a really different picture. She said, “It is rather difficult, saamne wale ko lagta hai bohot easy hai, but lagne lagane se toh kuch nahi hota hai… It’s difficult, looking good is difficult, each time be presentable- difficult.” She further explained how maintaining a cheerful front can feel emotionally exhausting. “You don’t feel like smiling and laughing on a regular basis. You might be somewhere deep down sad, but you could have to be a part of every little thing,” she added.
Highlighting how even fleeting public interactions carry emotional responsibility, Rashami said, “Kyuki saamne wale ko koi farak nahi padta na, saamne wale ke liye woh teen second bhi bohot vital ho jaate hai, so you could have to be there with that person in that moment, it’s important.” In line with her, these temporary moments still demand authenticity, presence, and heat, no matter what an actor could also be feeling internally.
Sharing a relatable thought with a touch of humour, Rashami added, “Kai baar aisa lagta hai yaar ek clone le aao, you realize ye bade bade log jo hote hai na ki unka bhi clone hona chahiye, but you’ll be able to not, you only can’t.” She concluded with a grounded reminder, “So you only must be yourself, you prefer to greet them, but just be nice, since it’s only a moment. You may create, and you’ll be able to have them, and it’s done.”
Rashami Desai’s honest reflection sheds light on the emotional labour that usually goes unnoticed behind the glamour of showbiz, reminding us that mental health conversations remain crucial in an industry driven by constant performance and visibility.
