Rashami Desai On Her Biggest Takeaways From Couples
Reflecting on her experience of interviewing couples on the show, Rashami said she learned way over she expected. “I’ve learned loads. Maine mostly couples ke hi interviews liye hai, aur couples se maine itna hi suna hai — sorry bolna, boundaries set karna, travel kaise heavy or light hota hai, aur funds kaise ek dusre ke saath share karte hai,” she shared. She identified that while couples often enter relationships with certain expectations, reality teaches them something deeper. “Un sabki ek ek cheez common nikli hai baad mein ki woh jo sochte hai waisa kuch hota nahi hai. Unke liye woh insaan itna matter karta hai ki har rishte mein agar aap respect rakhoge na, toh koi bhi boundary ho, woh partner cross karne hi wala hai — kyunki situation aap badal nahi sakte, but agar insaan matter karta hai na, toh aap behte chale jaate ho,” Rashami explained.

Talking about how disagreements also strengthen relationships, she added, “Unke disagreements bhi jab hote hai, woh haske batate hai, kyunki woh ho chuka hota hai. Baad mein hasi aati hai ki us waqt maine gussa kiya. Jaise aaj bhi Zaid bol raha tha ki ‘ye half fry mein shakkar daal ke khati hai,’ toh woh (Gauhar) bolti hai ‘fundamental apne bachche ko bhi khilaungi,’ aur woh bolta hai ‘I won’t ever let you feed them.’ Toh yeh bhi ek tarah ki fights hoti hai couples ke beech.”
These small moments made Rashami reflect deeply on companionship. “Mujhe dekh ke laga ki yaar yeh bohot sundar hai. Do logon ka saath mein hone se zyadaa do logon ka saath mein grow karna is so beautiful. It is extremely unique. Aur jab relation mein aate ho tabhi freedom ka matlab samajh mein aata hai. Par freedom kyun chahiye? Aap dono alag tareeke se ek dusre ke saath khush bhi reh sakte ho,” she said.

Rashami also spoke about evolving mindsets in relationships and independence. “Maine un couples se yeh bhi seekha ki dono apne-apne field mein independent kaise rehte hai. Aaj kal ladkiyon ko kaam karna hai, ladke bhi chahte hai ki woh progressive rahein,” she shared. Recalling a fun discussion from the show, Rashami said, “Paras ne bola, ‘I would like my partner to be very progressive, fundamental nahi chahta ki fundamental ghar aau aur woh baithe vatane chhil rahi ho.’ Phir Aarti bolti hai, ‘Mujhe vatane chhilna pasand hai, fundamental apne husband ke liye khana banati hoon, and I don’t care what you’re thinking that.’ Toh aisi females bhi hoti hai, and it’s her selection.”
Adding her own perspective, Rashami smiled and said, “Mera kya, fundamental toh single hoon, mast-maula rehti hoon. Par mera concept bhi change hua hai ki kisi ke pyaar mein behna bhi bohot sundar hota hai, bas partner achha hona chahiye.”
Rashami Desai Reveals Green Flags She Is Looking For In A Guy
When asked concerning the green flags she looks for in a partner, Rashami kept it refreshingly honest. “Koi green flags nahi hai, but I never used to permit anyone. Attributable to this show, not less than I’m in a position to open up towards meeting people. Har koi ek jaisa nahi hota, there are beautiful souls,” she said. She further added, “Aap pyaar ko kisi insaan ke saath replace nahi kar sakte ho, aur apne aap ko bhi replace nahi kar sakte. Aap jaise ho waise hi attract karo. Agar bond banta hai — jaise mere friends aur colleagues ke saath beautiful bond hai — toh agar naseeb mein likha hoga, toh ho jayega.”
Rashami’s candid thoughts reflect emotional maturity, self-awareness, and optimism, a reminder that meaningful relationships thrive on respect, growth, and authenticity slightly than checklists or rigid expectations.
