Just over every week out from the UFC’s historic first event of their latest broadcast deal, the cardboard has taken a whopping hit.
On January 24, the premier promotion is scheduled to carry their first event of their latest cope with Paramount, with UFC 324 landing in Las Vegas.
The event is scheduled to be headlined by an interim lightweight title fight between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje.
Nonetheless, that wasn’t the one title fight set to happen on the cardboard as within the co-main event, Kayla Harrison was scheduled to welcome Amanda Nunes back to the cage in a bantamweight title fight.

Despite the joy for UFC 324 being rife, earlier this Wednesday, the event took a considerable hit when it was reported that Harrison is out of her title fight against Nunes as a consequence of a neck injury.
Just this week, UFC boss Dana White did a mini media tour to advertise the event, and he continued to bill the fight as ‘the best women’s fight of all time’.
Reacting to the news, fans are mixed of their responses, with some clearly not fussed in regards to the fight falling off the cardboard, with others clearly ‘heartbroken’.
“Great news! Useless fight, Nunes should return to retirement,” one fan said.
“Rattling, that’s heartbreaking. This was one in every of the most important women’s fights possible. Speedy recovery to Kayla!” one other fan said.
“UFC form of falling off, I don’t know,” one other fan reacted.
“Explains Dana’s lack of energy yesterday,” one other fan claimed.
Not long before news broke, White took to Instagram live to announce the UFC Seattle major event, and fans noticed how he was devoid of energy.
“Come on, lol. What an amazing begin to the Paramount era,” a fifth fan reacted.
“Can’t consider it. Paramount’s first card could also be cursed,” one other fan suggested.
Harrison’s injury reportedly requires surgery
In response to the reports, Harrison’s injury requires surgery and she or he could possibly be out of motion for as much as five months.
Despite that, it’s seemingly unlikely that the promotion will introduce an interim title, with the division lacking in other contenders.
