Fans speculate that Oleksandr Usyk has signed with Dana White’s boxing promotion following update

Fans imagine the previous undisputed heavyweight champion could’ve signed for Dana White’s recent boxing promotion after a recent update emerged.

On January 23, Dana White‘s recent boxing promotion Zuffa Boxing will host their inaugural event from the Meta Apex, headlined by Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo.

Not long after the promotion announced their first most important event, news emerged that that they had signed former heavyweight world champion Charles Martin to compete within the most important event of their second event.

And now, some fans are under the idea that White has by some means pulled off a masterstroke by signing one among the present best pound-for-pound boxers in the game.

Fans speculate that Oleksandr Usyk has been signed by Dana White

Following his undisputed heavyweight title defense over Daniel Dubois last July, Oleksandr Usyk has been out of motion awaiting his next challenge.

During that point, the Ukrainian legend has dropped his WBO heavyweight title, which fell into the hands of Fabio Wardley.

And despite the undeniable fact that Usyk appeared to be considering retirement, he recently revealed that he’s targeting a clash against Deontay Wilder.

This past Wednesday, reports online suggested that Usyk is on the verge of signing a brand new promotional contract with ‘an upstart’ company that relies on the West Coast.

Putting two and two together, boxing fans at the moment are speculating that the 38-year-old could’ve signed with Zuffa Boxing.

“Usyk signed with Zuffa?” one fan questioned.

“The outrage here if Uncle Dana signed Usyk, man. Scenes,” one other fan said.

“Has Dana snagged the most important man for Zuffa?” commented one other.

“Surely it may well’t be Zuffa Boxing,” one other fan speculated.

“Usyk vs Wilder in USA, definitely feels like something Turki (Alalshikh) would hand off to Zuffa,” a fifth fan said.

Turki Alalshikh was closely involved in White’s first major foray into boxing last September with Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, and he is working as a primary leader alongside White.

Signing Usyk would go against Zuffa Boxing plan

Although signing the present best heavyweight on the planet, it seems highly unlikely that the promotion has the draw to drag off such an enormous signing.

Not only that, but the unique plan for Zuffa Boxing was to run the promotion similarly to how Dana White’s Contender Series is run, offering young up-and-coming boxers a platform.
