As per Bloomberg, Netflix has finalized a cope with Sony for KPop Demon Hunters 2, and a sequel is within the works. Fans have been open about wanting to delve into the backstories and get to know the characters much more deeply. Maggie Kang, the creator and director of the film, previously told Variety that she would like to look deeper into the world and its characters on being given the chance to achieve this.
She revealed, “We’ve arrange a lot for potential backstory. Obviously, there are lots of questions which can be left unanswered and areas that usually are not explored, and we had to try this because there’s only a lot movie you would tell in 85 minutes.” She said there are stories for each Zoey and Mira.
What’s The Projected Release Timeline For KPop Demon Hunters 2?
Now, KPop Demon Hunters is about to change into a franchise with a sequel coming and merchandise getting sold out across the globe. In line with Bloomberg, the projected timeline is around 4 years from the primary film’s release, which is why the sequel is anticipated to be released sometime in 2029.
