In nine matches of the continuing 2025-26 edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Mokhade has slammed five centuries for Vidarbha.

Vidarbha’s opening batter Aman Mokhade on Thursday (January 15) has equalled the record of scoring probably the most centuries in a single edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The 24-year-old right-handed batter opened the innings for the Harsh Dubey-led side within the 281-run chase against Karnataka in the primary semifinal of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 played on the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru and scored 138 runs from 122 balls. During his stay on the crease, he slammed 12 fours and a pair of sixes for the last edition’s losing finalists within the repeat of the 2024-25 final.
The century by Mokhade on Thursday is his fifth century in the continuing season. Prior to playing a knock of 138 runs against the Mayank Agarwal-led side, he scored 110 runs against Bengal in Vidarbha’s Vijay Hazare Trophy opener played in Rajkot on December 24, 2025, after which slammed 139 against Jammu and Kashmir, 150* against Baroda and 147 against Uttar Pradesh.
Before Mokhade, Tamil Nadu’s Narayan Jagadeesan and Vidarbha’s Karun Nair had also scored five centuries in a single edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. While Jagadeesan achieved the feat within the 2022-23 season, Nair scored five centuries for Vidarbha within the 2024-25 edition.
