Mohammed Usman has posted on social media following huge news about his profession.
Usman appeared to save lots of his UFC profession by beating Hamdy Abdelwahab in his last outing contained in the Octagon.
While he would’ve hoped to have turned this victory into back-to-back wins within the near future, his momentum has been completely derailed by a surprising announcement.
Usman was suspended until April of 2028 by Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) after testing positive for testosterone.
The 36-year-old heavyweight has since taken the chance to deal with the news via his own platform.

Mohammed Usman admits mistakes in first statement on UFC suspension
Mohammed Usman was reportedly pulled from his fight with Valter Walker because of a failed drug test in October before the UFC released further details.
Combat Sports Anti-Doping’s statement on the suspension revealed that the six-fight UFC veteran got here clean about taking prohibited substances after initially denying it.
His false explanation for the positive test results ended up adding one other six months to his suspension, meaning that he won’t have the option to compete again until April of 2028.
Usman has since reflected on this announcement by admitting to his mistakes, speaking about his plans for the longer term, and thanking the UFC.
“I need to deal with my suspension,” Usman wrote on Instagram. “During my recovery, I made a mistake while attempting to heal, and I take full responsibility for it. This time has allowed me to get my health back, deal with my family, and gain a deeper appreciation for all times.
“I even have breath in my lungs, life, and I’m truly blessed,” he continued. “I’m taking things at some point at a time and staying committed to growth and doing things the correct way. I’m grateful to the UFC, Rashad, Ali, and Brian and all my coaches for his or her continued support. We move forward.”
