Manchester City have reached an agreement to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in a £20 million deal.
The England international has lower than six months remaining on his current deal, meaning Palace risk losing their captain on a free transfer this summer.
Liverpool and Arsenal have also expressed interest in Guehi, while Barcelona met with the defender’s agents last month.
Nevertheless, City have now agreed a deal in principle with Palace for Guehi.
Palace manager Oliver Glasner said on Friday: ‘My latest understanding is that a take care of Marc is in the ultimate stages.
