They’re still not completely out of it, and a league source has said that GM Chris Drury has been trying to add a top-nine forward with some offense. They’re trying to do some selling, with an eye fixed on a retool and never rebuild.
The Rangers could sell some assets for younger players who might give you the option to play immediately. They might also search for assets to make use of in future trades.
