Angie Katsanevas has thrown some serious shade at her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costar Lisa Barlow over the continuing Ben Affleck drama.
Alongside a clip of Affleck seeming to be clueless about ever meeting Barlow, Katsanevas, 51, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 16, “[Ben] didn’t know Lisa but he recognized Celia.”
As any RHOSLC viewer will certainly know, Celia is Katsanevas’s beloved pet poodle, who played a pivotal part in an iconic season 6 argument about farting along with her owner’s castmate Mary M. Cosby. (Cosby, 53, infamously blamed Celia for farting during a scene with Katsanevas, though the precise wrongdoer has never been confirmed.)
Meanwhile, all the Affleck drama began in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 6 when Barlow, 51, name-dropped Affleck and Blake Full of life as her excuse for missing Katsanevas’s girls trip.
“I don’t wish to spend the night with [costar Bronwyn Newport]. She’s a pathological liar. She will’t tell the reality to avoid wasting her life. It’s like, disgusting,” Barlow complained. “Also, I actually have a piece thing. It’s like, an enormous deal. I feel what people forget is I actually have a really full life. Because I keep it kinda private. And like, I’m not gonna drop names, but like, I’ll be with Ben [Affleck] and Blake [Lively].”
She then quipped, “I’ll be with Ben Affleck and also you’ll be with Bronwyn.”
Nevertheless, Affleck, 53, seemed utterly clueless about ever meeting Barlow when asked to fact-check the Bravo star’s comments during a recent interview with Access Hollywood.
“I don’t wish to get anybody in trouble or – I don’t know what that is – an event in Salt Lake City? Like, prove someone right or mistaken?” he replied in a clip shared on Friday.
Affleck later admitted, “I haven’t been in Utah in possibly, 8, 9 or 10 years, I don’t know. It doesn’t look familiar to me and I don’t remember anything.”

Affleck and his The Rip costar Matt Damon identified that it’s possible that he could have crossed paths with Barlow sooner or later without realizing it.
“I don’t wish to embarrass her because, I say hi to lots of people, I don’t wish to be the jerk who’s like, I didn’t meet you… You don’t remember everyone you meet,” Affleck said. “I don’t think I’m qualified to weigh in on this, whatever this raging controversy is.”
While there was speculation that Barlow could have been referring to meeting Ben at a Sundance Film Festival event in Park City, Utah, she later set the record straight.
“[It was] SXSW [for] The Accountant 2,” Barlow clarified via Instagram on Friday. “And it was an amazing movie and party.”
The Affleck-starring motion thriller The Accountant 2 did have its world premiere on the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 8, 2025. Affleck and Damon were reportedly in attendance for the screening and a premiere party that night. (Full of life’s thriller One other Easy Favor also screened at SXSW on March 7, 2025.)
This latest incident shouldn’t be the first-time Barlow has name-dropped Affleck. On the heels of Affleck’s split from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez in August 2024, Barlow shared a throwback photo of the actor along with his arm round her shoulder.
The Instagram Story was set to Lopez’s hit “If You Had My Love” and featured Barlow’s playful caption, “I all the time throw an amazing house party.”
