Manchester United have been offered the chance to make a surprise January signing in the form of former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The England international has made 90 appearances for the Italian giants and stays an everyday face in the primary team, with 23 outings thus far this season.

Nevertheless, Loftus-Cheek has not been an everyday starter, with 19 Serie A appearances this campaign, but just eight of those coming within the starting XI.

TalkSPORT report that AC Milan have offered Manchester United the prospect to sign the previous Chelsea man this month.

The Red Devils will not be seeking to make a everlasting signing, but are considering a loan move until the top of the campaign.

Loftus-Cheek is on the lookout for more game time and to spice up his probabilities of making England’s World Cup squad in the summertime.
