Yella Beezy is now battling against grief on top of a murder case. On Friday, the rapper was reportedly absent from a pre-trial hearing for his alleged role within the killing of Mo3. Two days later, he opened up about his mother’s death in a touching social media post.

Yella Beezy Pens Emotional Message After His Mother’s Death
On Sunday, Yella Beezy uploaded 20 slides of memories featuring his mom, from selfies with him and her grandkid to FaceTime screenshots. The rapper expressed pain losing his “mama…sister…best friend…world and the whole lot.” Straight away, he feels “empty,” Beezy wrote. He added that that is the primary time she’s ever disillusioned him by leaving him when he needs her essentially the most.
“I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy…. My BaccBone , My life …. How I’m imagined to live without you ? Who I’m imagined to check with on a regular basis? Send reels too? Who I’m imagined to argue with? It’s been me and also you against the world since birth. Can’t no person go to war about me such as you. Take up for me, protect me and my name through all of it. God, you don’t make mistakes, and I’ll never query you. I’m never going against you . Neither will I ever doubt you but I’m hurt and lost and wish your strength. Yella Beezy wrote that he’ll miss their talks, her vibes, how she lights up a room, her smile and the way in which she stands by him and their family. No matter how unfair all of it feels, the rapper said he’s confident his mother is in Heaven.

Rapper Absent From Court In Mo3 Case Amid Mom’s Death
In line with Fox 4 KDFW, Yella Beezy opted out of a court appearance on Friday (Jan. 16) amid his mother’s passng. He had a pre-trial hearing scheduled in connection to his alleged role within the murder-for-hire plot that led to Mo3’s death in 2020. His lawyers and prosecutors are expected to return to court this week with pre-trial motions and potential trial dates. His jury trial is ready to start on Feb. 2, but that date could change.
As previously reported, police arrested Yella Beezy in March 2025, accusing him of orchestrating the “hit” on Mo3. The rapper was gunned down on November 11, 2020 while driving in Dallas. Beezy walked last 12 months on a $750,000 bond after it was reduced from $2 million. He’s currently on house arrest with electronic monitoring. His bond conditions allow him to proceed working in music, including leaving the home once every week for as much as five hours to hit the studio. His latest single ‘Blame It On Me’ was released in September 2025.
