EXCLUSIVE: Riddhi Kumar Calls Prabhas’ The Raja Saab ‘A Dream Project For Any Artist’

Riddhi Kumar has steadily built a formidable profession together with her strong screen presence and thoughtful alternative of roles, and in recently-released The Raja Saab, she once more proves her mettle. Despite being a large-scale multi-starrer led by Prabhas, the actress holds her own with a performance that adds emotional depth to the film. Riddhi’s journey reflects confidence, growth, and a capability to shine even in big ensemble projects.

Riddhi Kumar: The Raja Saab Had Elements Of Almost Every Genre

Talking about what made her say yes to The Raja Saab, Riddhi Kumar admits that the dimensions of the project is what immediately caught her attention. She said, “It’s a multi-starrer and a dream project for any artist, which was one among the primary things that attracted me to the film.” Nonetheless, it wasn’t just the star power that convinced her. She explained, “What I also really liked was the best way the script was written and narrated since it had elements of virtually every genre.”

Riddhi adds that the film’s unique mixture of genres stood out for her. She shared, “There’s horror, comedy, motion, romance and greater than that, a fantasy world that I hadn’t seen on screen before. It was extremely creative and technically sound.” For Riddhi, the storytelling played an enormous role in making her decision.

Riddhi On Working With Prabhas Again

Working with Prabhas again was one other special reason for her to say yes to the film. She shared, “I had already worked with Prabhas before and had been an enormous fan of him post Baahubali. This time, I had the chance to act as his co-star, and that was extremely special.”

For many who don’t know, Riddhi plays Anitha within the film – a personality she feels deeply connected to. Talking about her character, Riddhi revealed, “Anitha gets introduced within the very starting and has an important arc throughout with Raju. What I actually liked about her was how expressive she is, and that’s how I see myself as well, and we immediately connected.”

With a robust character, a creative script, and a large canvas, The Raja Saab marks one other exciting chapter in Riddhi Kumar’s evolving journey.
