WPL 2026 Points Table After DC vs MI Match
Days after reeling at the underside of the WPL points table, Delhi Capitals made a bit but notable jump with an exciting win over defending champions Mumbai Indians on Tuesday. Jemimah Rodrigues led Delhi Capitals to a much-needed seven-wicket win over Mumbai Indians within the WPL with a composed, unbeaten fifty on a difficult surface.
Chasing 155, Delhi began strongly through Lizelle Lee and Shafali Verma before slipping in the center overs. Jemimah steadied the innings and finished the job with support from Marizanne Kapp. Earlier, the Mumbai Indians again struggled within the powerplay but Nat Sciver-Brunt’s fluent 66 not out and Harmanpreet Kaur’s 41 lifted them to 154 for five. The win was Delhi’s second of the season, while Mumbai suffered their fourth defeat.
The victory aided DC move as much as the 4th spot, displacing Gujarat Giants. But most significantly, Jemimah & Co. are still alive within the race to the playoffs. RCB stand atop with 10 points and the ‘Q’ mark, while MI, despite the defeat, managed to retain their second position.

Orange Cap
Harmanpreet Kaur on Tuesday played a vital knock against DC, amassing 41 runs off 33 deliveries. Along with her innings, she dethroned Phoebe Litchfield from the highest of the top-scorers chart and bagged the Orange Cap again with 240 runs in 6 matches. Nat Sciver-Brunt, who top-scored with a 45-ball 65, now stands second, while DC’s Lizelle Lee grabbed the third spot following her 46-run innings on Tuesday evening. Litchfield slipped to fourth spot and Meg Lanning is 5th currently.

Purple Cap
DC’s Nandini Sharma has been in decent form, but she could pick only one wicket on Tuesday against MI. She returned figures of 1/36, moving as much as the third spot on the list of highest wicket-takers of the season.
