Anthony Di Marco: “I would really like to think so. But I mean, the contract continues to be the contract, with one other three or 4 years left at $7 million. Now look, centers are at a premium within the NHL, and we saw that within the recent weeks with the contract to Christian Dvorak and Alex Wennberg, which on the surface appear to be overpays, but again, the centers are only so few and much between.
But I, he has the no-trade protection. I can’t remember. I realize it is a modified one, I consider, but as much as I would like to say it’s a matter of time, I just sometimes have a look at that contract. I’m identical to, I’m unsure what number of teams will have the option and willing to soak up that for the remainder of the years left on the contract.”
