Ryan Reynolds has come under fire from critics over a cringeworthy email he sent to “It Ends With Us” creator Colleen Hoover shortly after the film’s premiere in August 2024.
The e-mail surfaced as a part of the numerous documents included in the continuing sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Reynolds’ wife, Blake Energetic, against her co-star and the film’s director, Justin Baldoni.

The Actor Heaped Praises On ‘IEWU’ Writer And Blake Energetic
In newly surfaced documents amid the continuing Energetic and Baldoni’s lawsuit, Reynolds allegedly sent an email to Hoover a day after “IEWU” premiered in cinemas in August 2024.
The e-mail from the “Deadpool” actor was a full-on praise fest, with Reynolds hyping Hoover’s contribution, in addition to that of his wife, Energetic, in making the film a hit.
“Holy f-ckity f-ck. You guys really pulled it off. Like..Collen… this thing is on fire in every single place. And audiences have wrapped each arms across the film. Reynolds went on to explain the movie as a “complete win,” while lavishing further praise on Hoover and Energetic, whom he described as “genuinely good.”

Netizens Slammed Ryan Reynolds’ Cringe’ Email

Within the wake of the e-mail’s emergence, some netizens questioned Reynolds’ seemingly close involvement within the film, while others mocked each his writing style and that of his wife.
“Unexpectedly, I appreciate my husband’s one-word text responses,” a person remarked.
A second commented, “Why do they write like this my god all the pieces I’ve seen from him and Blake is about 5x times longer than it must be. Have they got a word of the day app they’re using?”

Yet one more user mentioned that the e-mail is proof that Reynolds and Energetic were obsessive about Baldoni.
