Amanda Knox Is Still Feeling The Impact Of A Wrongful Conviction
Amanda Knox’s journey to Hollywood success began in extraordinary and tragic circumstances. In 2009, she was convicted in Italy for the murder of her roommate in Perugia.
Her incarceration and prolonged fight to clear her name have since been examined through quite a few multimedia projects.

Chatting with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the documentary’s release, Knox emphasized that the experience stays unresolved to her. “This isn’t just this bad thing that happened to me 20 years ago,” she said. “I’m still reckoning with the pain and the hurt and the fear.”

In an interview with Seattle’s KOMO 4 TV, she said the world would see her through his eyes within the documentary. “That is just footage of me in really, really difficult moments,” Knox explained. “And the one reason anyone has access to that’s since it’s my husband.”
