Jimmy Murphy: “It appears Doug Armstrong now could be, is listening on, I don’t know if saying every thing is an overstatement, but listening on quite a lot of players immediately. NHL Rumors: Nashville Predators Now Looking To Move Pending UFAs
Strickland: “I don’t know. I mean, listen, in the event you know Doug Armstrong, he’s not talking to quite a lot of the folks that are putting this news out. It’s like quite a lot of people give you different ideas and theories, and I get it.
Who’s the hardest players, what position is the hardest to search out within the National Hockey League?
Pierre McGuire: “Right defense and center.
Strickland: “Right defense and center. Okay, so the Blues aren’t very dynamic at the middle position. He’s the one dynamic center that they really have. I mean, they produce other good centers. Pius Suter’s an excellent center. Brayden Schenn‘s an excellent center. But they wouldn’t be classified as dynamic offensive players.
Actually at this stage of Schenn’s profession. I mean, he can still produce and be very effective. Love Schenner as a player. And Puis Suter has actually been an awesome fit here in St Louis. Not the most important guy, but, you understand, he scores quite a lot of goals across the blue paint. Really respect his game.
So in the event you’re eliminating Robert Thomas, there’s someone higher be coming back the opposite way, who can fill that void. Because he’s your primary center. He is probably not the primary center on every team, but he’s pretty rattling good.
NHL Rumors: Toronto Maple Leafs, and the St. Louis Blues
And Blues need to add centers. You realize, they need defensemen. They need centers. They got enough wingers immediately. Once you have a look at the team, they should add center iceman. And the most effective method to do this wouldn’t be by moving Robert Thomas. So again, anybody might be moved if the fitting players are coming back the opposite way.”
