Dan Hooker drops damning criticism of the UFC just days out from return at UFC 325… ‘God-awful sport’

Ahead of his return to the Octagon at UFC 325, Dan Hooker has dropped a damning criticism of ‘this god-awful sport’.

This past Saturday, the premier MMA promotion returned from their long hiatus over the festive period with UFC 324, the primary event of the brand new 12 months and the inaugural event since moving to Paramount.

And showing no signs of slowing down, this coming Saturday the promotion will return to Sydney, Australia, for UFC 325 headlined by a featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes.

Competing within the co-main event is the returning Dan Hooker, who takes on fellow fan-favorite, Benoit Saint-Denis, who’s seeking to rating his third win in a row.

Hooker drops bizarre statement concerning the UFC days out from return

Over the past few months, ‘The Hangman’ Hooker has been involved in several controversies with fellow lightweight fighters.

Ahead of his clash against longtime rival Arman Tsarukyan this past November, Hooker was head-butted by the Armenian, before being dominated within the second round of their fight.

Not long after, Hooker received widespread criticism when he and Paddy Pimblett clashed online, and Hooker mocked one in every of Pimblett’s late friends.

And now just just a few days out from his clash in Sydney, Hooker has once more risked the wrath of the fanbase and the promotion, as he has gone on a bizarre rant regarding the game and the UFC.

“Once I finish this silly profession, I’d actually prefer to make some money, that’d be cool,” Hooker told Engage in an interview.

“I’d prefer to get into business and investment once I even have time and I’m not distracted by this f—— god-awful sport. Had I invested all of that point into making a business or specializing in investments, I can be far richer and fewer f—— brain-damaged.”

Dan Hooker could settle feud with Paddy Pimblett

In the meanwhile, just one position separates Hooker and Pimblett within the rankings, and following ‘The Baddy’s’ loss to Justin Gaethje this past weekend, a fight between the 2 rivals now seems likely.

If the 35-year-old gets past the tough challenge of ‘God of War’, expect Hooker to make a daring and brash callout of the Brit.
