There have been conflicting statements about whether UFC fighters have had their pay increased.
After the UFC inked a $7.7 billion cope with Paramount last yr, questions immediately arose regarding how the agreement would impact athlete compensation.
Dana White insisted fighter pay would go up, but one among the principal event stars at UFC 324 threw doubt over that claim ahead of his triumph in Las Vegas.
Before Justin Gaethje beat Paddy Pimblett, the American fan favorite claimed to be earning the very same for his latest title fight as he would have before the Paramount era kicked off.
The UFC president’s response to that claim was widely ridiculed, but Dan Hooker’s recent remarks have left some reevaluating…

UFC 325 co-headliner Dan Hooker says his pay has increased
White responded to Gaethje’s claim by insisting he had been offered a rise but didn’t respond.
Many fans and analysts questioned that, dismissing the suggestion that a fighter wouldn’t jump on the prospect to have their pay boosted.
Others put the blame on the doorstep of Gaethje’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, and that’s sure to be the case after Hooker revealed that his manager “answered the decision” when offered a pay boost ahead of UFC 325.
After being asked about Gaethje’s comments during an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, ‘The Hangman’ confirmed that he’ll enter the cage in Sydney earning more due to the Paramount deal.
“My manager answered the decision. My manager passed on the knowledge… I’ll take the pay raise, my brother. I’m getting paid,” Hooker said.

Dan Hooker is a favourite for one among the brand new bonuses at UFC 325
Along with his increased base pay, Hooker will little doubt have his sights on one other check when he makes the walk at UFC 325.
The Kiwi fan favorite will look to bounce back from his loss against Arman Tsarukyan last November within the co-main event this Saturday, where a showdown with Benoit Saint-Denis awaits.
Each men have shown a penchant for firefights within the UFC, and that might put them in line to gather one among the increased post-fight UFC bonuses.
Before UFC 324, it was revealed that the promotion had doubled bonuses from $50,000 to $100,000. ‘The Hangman’ and ‘God of War’ could walk away with that extra money if their bout plays out as expected and earns them Fight of the Night honors.
