What really got people talking, though, was the lion mascot. Wearing full The 50 branding and surrounded by floating money visuals, the lion sparked curiosity in every single place it went. The cash angle ties into the show’s format, where fans can win money if their favourite player wins, making the stakes personal for viewers too.
Adding to the thrill, fans have began speculating about Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav’s possible connection to the lion. Abhishek was recently spotted wearing a jacket where the The 50 lion mascot was clearly visible, leading many to consider it may very well be a subtle hint. Meanwhile, several fans feel the lion’s body structure and overall presence resemble Elvish Yadav, further fueling theories around their involvement.
